How to set your business up on Google My Business Page

It’s becoming increasingly important for you business to be as easy to find in Google as possible. Not only is it crucial to be rank highly in Google Search but for local businesses, it is vital for your business to appear on Google Maps. This can be achieved quite simply by visiting  https://www.google.com/business/ and click “Get on Google”. 

Select or create the Google account you want to use and sign in. Search for your business in the prompted area by name and address and then you can either add your business to the map or add or claim your business on Google My Business.

For Adding your business to the map, open Google Maps and make sure you're signed in and carry out the following steps:

1. Zoom in to the map where you want to add your business.

2. In the bottom right, click Report a problem.

3. Click Add a missing place.

4. Drag the marker to where you business is, and add any relevant information.

5. Then simply click Submit.

If you are looking to Add or Claim Your Business on Google My Business, please follow the below steps:

1. Go to Google My Business. Click “Get on Google”

2. Enter Your Businesses Name and Address in the Search Box.

3. Select or Add Your Business. Then click on your business listing if it appears among the suggested matches. ...

4. Verify Your Business. 

5. Confirm your Business.
